Introduction :
AI can help the securities industry face some of the biggest challenges in its history: full digitization of markets, technology-driven disruption, liquidity fragmentation, fee compression, and lower client switching costs, to name a few. At the same time, it is embracing some of its greatest opportunities, made possible by technology: the convergence of data ubiquity, high-speed processing, and the advanced technologies that comprise enterprise AI.
Responsible AI in Financial Markets: Organizations across the financial markets industry are at a unique time and place in their evolution. From full digitization of markets to technology-driven disruption, financial institutions are faced with some of the most complex and dynamic challenges in their history.
At the same time, they are embracing some of their biggest opportunities, many made possible by technology: managing model risk in the face of mounting regulations to proactively monitoring the health of client relationships.
At the end of the course, students will be able to:
- Understand the formal foundations of the tools of Automatic Learning and, in particular, of Deep Learning.
- Propose solutions based on Deep Learning from a broad perspective, considering the ethical and legal aspects and the economic and social implications of the automation of the processes in the businesses.
- Understand and be able to analyze the tools of Artificial Intelligence that can be used in different business contexts.
- Master programming of data structures and program flow in high-level languages such as Python.
- Know the main applications of automatic learning in different areas
- Develop advanced data structures, algorithms, and machine learning systems
- Work as ethical and responsible members of the computing profession and society.
